ABOUT ME

I wrote my first song at the age of 16 at a regional youth festival. Today, more than 30 years later, I have many years of stage experience. From 1998 until its closure in 2018, I was the owner of the Christian independent label "HOPE-MUSIC" and recorded several albums with various artists and choirs as a composer, songwriter and producer.

Since 2021 I've been back to my roots and writing songs for myself again.
Songs from worship, praise and worship to gospel. I am very happy that the single “Chainbreaker”, which I recorded with my wife Silke, is being played by more and more radio stations around the world.

The path that lies behind me would never have been possible without the very first song and the impetus from the songwriter Henry Bran from El Salvador. As we were both sitting there with our guitars at this youth festival, he said to me, “Stop playing other artists’ songs all the time! You will always be compared to them. You don't have to sound like Micael Jackson. Just be like Hagen Rösler and be authentic. Come on, write a song right now!” And so I tried it and wrote my first song. The lyrics were awkward and as if that wasn't enough excitement, the next day he brought me on stage and I had to sing the title in front of 750 people.
